Opoka has been working to improve the lives of Polish women and their families since 2012.
Opoka is a specialist confidential service for Polish women and children who experience domestic violence and abuse. Opoka’s services are delivered by highly trained specialist bilingual domestic violence experts, who are very experienced at providing this kind of support. Opoka offers safe and specialist support to help survivors of domestic violence to improve their health, wellbeing and build self-sustainable futures. Opoka has a confidential Polish helpline, further support includes: counselling, Freedom Programme in Polish, advice and advocacy, assistance navigating the legal system, outreach service, mentoring, training, volunteering and placement opportunities.
