House of H.E.R. (Heal, Escape, Rebuild) is a survivor-led support community founded to empower, educate and support women who have experienced domestic abuse.
Founded through my own lived experience of domestic abuse, House of H.E.R. provides a safe, understanding and supportive environment where women can connect with others who truly understand what they have been through.
Our services include a private, vetted WhatsApp community, daily healing challenges, guided morning and evening wellbeing sessions, educational resources, trauma bonding support, a podcast raising awareness of domestic abuse, and community events designed to reduce isolation and help women rebuild their confidence and independence.
We also provide information and signposting to specialist organisations that can offer professional, legal and practical support.
Our community is growing rapidly, with nearly 100 women currently accessing peer support, many of whom are navigating the emotional and practical challenges of rebuilding their lives after abuse.
Our mission is to ensure that no woman feels alone after leaving an abusive relationship and to help survivors move from simply surviving to rebuilding a life they feel safe, confident and empowered in.
Through our relationship with NCDV, we hope to make specialist legal protection and support more accessible to women within our community who need it.
