FORWARD (Foundation of Women’s Health Research and Development) is the African women-led women’s rights organisation working to end violence against women and girls. We provide specialist advice and support on domestic abuse, sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, and other harmful practices in a culturally appropriate, non-judgemental and safe environment. For over 30 years, we continue to speak to safeguard the rights and dignity of BME (black, minority and ethnic) women and girls, wherever they live and regardless of immigration status.
