The Global Business Excellence Awards pride themselves on having a large panel of independent expert judges who select winners according to strict criteria for each category and sector; focussing on financial results, innovation, customer, employee, investor and community benefits.
The Global Business Excellence Awards judges said:
Commenting on the National Centre for Domestic Violence, the winner in the Outstanding App category, the chairman of the judges said: “The National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV) has created a truly outstanding app that is a life saver for victims of domestic abuse. Regardless of financial means, the Refer Direct app can issue emergency injunctions within 24 hours and keep clients up-to-date with progress via text, which is so reassuring for clients. Previously, injunctions would take days and getting one sooner can prevent repeat attacks. NCDV can’t be praised enough for its clever use of an app to stop domestic abuse and make the world a safer place to live in.”
Upon receiving the Award, Mark Groves, Head of Operations said “This is brilliant news. We are committed to helping victims of domestic abuse and violence by developing technical solutions but it is our staff that make us excellent at what we do. For our developments to be recognized with such an award acknowledges the dedication and commitment of everyone at NCDV, I know they will be thrilled.”
The Global Business Excellence Awards are one of the world’s highest profile awards and winning this accolade speaks volumes about the quality of your work. Due to their high profile, the Awards attract a wide range of entries from across the world, from large international PLCs and public sector organisations to dynamic and innovative SMEs. The winners all have one thing in common – they are truly outstanding at what they do and the NCDV have proved this by winning a Global Business Excellence Award.
