Anne Milton, the Conservative MP for Guildford was present at the House of Commons to show her support for the centre and the new bill. During the evening Ms. Milton introduced Steve Connor, with great words of confidence and hope for what this new bill could bring forth for survivors of domestic violence. Following Anne's speech, Steve explained to the guests what the National Centre for Domestic Violence do and how we aim to significantly improve the service we provide to everyone all over the UK. |

Other MP's also showed their support for the NCDV. James Bronkenshire, MP for Hornchurch and Theresa May, MP for Maidenhead where also there to show their support towards the centre and what we are accomplishing. With the support of the House of Commons we will be able to increase the amount of injunctions which are very necessary throughout the UK.

Other key figures of the English legal system made an appearance at the event, such as HH Judge John Altman, HH Judge Platt and Mr. Justice Mark Hedley who all listened intensely and interested to Steve's proposition.
